Kindergarten Teacher

I take pride in saying "I love my job"! Not to many people are able to honestly say this. Teaching for 15 years in classes from behavior disorder, learning disabled, to the general classroom I have gained a wealth of knowledge, I feel, has made me a better teacher. I teach simply because I get rewarded everyday. I love the "aha" moments when children learn something new and then apply it to our learning. Another special moment is when the children say they are learning and getting smarter, and I have helped them learn. Growth is a major incentive for me. Every child needs to have positive self-esteem and a love for learning. I want and need to be that person to help these children.
